Eric Zaidins is a New York-based attorney and part-time administrative law judge/hearing officer. In private practice, he has worked on a variety of legal matters, including real estate development, environmental law, and intellectual property. He also has worked in the public sector as assistant general counsel to the New York City School Construction Authority from 1990 to 1996.

As a p/t administrative law judge (ALJ) Zaidins is currently serving the Putnam County and Nassau County Departments of Health. He has also presided as an ALJ in Westchester County for the Department of Health, Department of Consumer Protection, and Taxi and Limousine Commission. As a hearing officer, Zaidins has presided over civil service disciplinary, special education, and student disciplinary hearings in hundreds of cases in Westchester County and throughout New York State. He is also a trained mediator.

Zaidins received his Bachelor of Arts degree from SUNY Albany, and received his JD in 1985 from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. He is a member of the National Association of Administrative Law Judiciary (NAALJ) and its Technology Committee. Zaidins is also on the Executive Board of the New York State Administrative Law Judges Association (NYSALJA), serving as Chair of its Technology Committee, and is a member of the Committee on Continuing Legal Education.
